The Center of Advanced European Studies and Research (caesar) in Bonn, Germany, is a neuroethology institute focusing on the neural mechanisms underlying animal behavior. Caesar is closely associated with the Max Planck Society and shares its scientific principles, including those governing the education of PhD students. Together with our partners the Max-Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience, the University of Bonn and Florida Atlantic University, we are running an international PhD program and are currently looking for a:
Coordinator (m/f) for the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Brain and Behavior
In this role you will coordinate between the involved institutions and universities to facilitate the recruitment and selection of excellent international PhD students. You will assist students in organizational matters and organize scientific and social events. In addition, you will be responsible for the IMPRS homepage and the worldwide promotion of the program.
We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who works independently and has excellent communication and organizational skills. An outstanding knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Short periods of international travel will be required.
International experience in education and research is highly desirable. Preferably, you are holding a graduate degree in the sciences and have already been working in a scientific or educational environment.
