Postdoctoral research fellow (f/m) in Theoretical Chemistry - Research Training Group BENCh

Your profile 
- you hold a Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry,
- are interested in pursuing a career as independent researcher,
- are proficient in English.

The BENCh Research Training Group (BENCh RTG) consists of a high-level research programme aiming to provide landmark experiments for quantum chemical methods benchmarking. The topics will span from gas phase spectrometry, molecular beam techniques, synthesis to X-ray diffraction. A strong connection between theoretical chemistry and experiment builds the core for the projects. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to develop a research plan under the general topic of theory development and modelling in close connection with one or more of the research projects funded in the initiative. The latter should be a stepping stone for third-party funding applications and establishment of an independent research group in accordance with the Faculty's career development plan. Candidates should have a strong profile in theoretical chemistry, preferably with 1-3 years of postdoctoral training. For more information consult the official homepage (link below).
