we are looking for a technical-scientific project manager
Nagra, the Swiss National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste, is
responsible
for the planning and implementation of the safe disposal of radioactive
waste generated in Switzerland. The Department of International Services and Projects
(ISP) is responsible for our international consulting services, the operation of Nagra‘s
own underground laboratory, the Grimsel Tests Site (
www.grimsel.com) and the
corresponding
coordination of international cooperative projects. To further strengthen
our team we are looking for a technical-scientific project manager.
You should have a natural sciences or engineering background with an advanced
university degree and a minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the
following areas:
- engineering and applied geoscience
- analysis of geoscientific data and modeling of the relevant processes
- performance assessment, safety case development
Our strength is delivering state-of-the-art solutions utilising our in-house expertise in
synergy with expertise from our well-established partner network. Demonstrated ability
to lead and work within multidisciplinary teams and cost-effective, prompt and efficient
delivery of results is a must. Multi-tasking, a high degree of flexibility, a flair for project
acquisition and willingness to travel abroad for short periods is expected. The working
languages in ISP are English and German. International experience as well as knowledge
of additional
languages are assets to be favorably considered in the evaluation.
