We are searching for our faculty Art and Design at our location in Berlin with the start of the
Winter Semester 2019/2020 part-time (50%/9 SWS):
Professor Motion Design engl. (m/f/d)
Implementation of introductory and advanced courses in the field of time-based audiovisual media in our Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes
Advice and support for prospective students and students
Conducting exams, supervision of seminar, project, bachelor and master theses
Development of partnerships with companies and institutions for joint practical projects and further networking of the university in Berlin
Acquisition of partner companies, supervision of internships
Administrative activities and committee work
Supervision of the editing and animation studios at Campus Berlin
Degree in relevant university studies (e.g. Motion Graphic Design, Animation)
Proof of special artistic aptitude through a descriptive portfolio of selected works
Ability to conduct courses in English language
Proof of the ability to work scientifically
Qualified professional experience, at least five years, of which three years outside the university
Extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the areas of motion graphic design, 2D animation, 3D animation, digital compositing are welcome.
Teaching experience at universities
Publication and research activities welcome
In addition very good knowledge of German desired
Strong ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
Organisational skills and operational readiness
An open-ended employment contract (50% / 9 SWS)
