Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities of the holder of this position (m/f/d) include the entire range of the subject of Quantitative Methods in all of the Faculty’s consecutive and non-consecutive programmes.
Topics in research and teaching shall comprise both econometric principles and modern approaches to collect (e.g. web crawling) and analyse even large and / or unstructured data volumes (e.g. big data analytics, text mining). Research and teaching contents shall be associated with the Faculty’s core curriculum, to be supported by relevant competence in at least one of the following fields: management, economics or political science. In addition, we expect the candidate to be willing to get involved in the Faculty’s key research areas.
As regards the further development of the Faculty, we explicitly welcome specialisation in the field of data science (e.g. artificial intelligence), as well as active involvement in the development of this field within the Faculty. The holder of the position (m/f/d) must have gained national and international recognition in the fields of research outlined above.
